These traditional houseboats called Kettuvallam are made of wood, and are designed with a lounge area, a bedroom and a kitchen. Guests are greeted with the traditional welcome drink of tender coconut, and can also enjoy the taste of Southern hospitality with traditional vegetarian cuisine, including fish preparations for the non-vegetarians.
